Non Contact Road Condition Sensor is a sensor that can measure road information without touching the road surface. It can measure water, ice, slippery degree and other data.The Non Contact Road Condition Sensor uses remote sensing technology to avoid damage to the road, thus preventing traffic disruption caused by installing a road weather station. Multispectral measurement technology enables accurate detection of the thickness of ice, snow and water on the road surface.
The FT-LM2 detector is ideal for road conditions where buried road sensors are inconvenient or impossible to install. Remote sensing installation means no road closures or road cutting are required, making installation safe and convenient. Low maintenance makes it an ideal addition to a road weather system. It can be installed on existing weather stations or other buildings with an unobstructed view of the road.
The Non Contact Road Condition Sensor is housed in an all-weather, durable housing to withstand the elements, allowing it to provide accurate data in all weather conditions.
By providing information on road conditions, the FT-LM2 detector provides road management departments with accurate monitoring data to take response measures before road safety is in jeopardy.
