First, many intelligent sensors can be set up at key parts of the road to collect meteorological data in real time, such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall, etc. These data are transmitted to the central processing system through the Internet of Things for rapid analysis and processing. Once bad weather conditions are detected, an alarm is sent to the driver in time to remind him to pay attention to safety. Second, using big data and artificial intelligence technology, conduct in-depth analysis of historical meteorological data and traffic accident data to explore the correlation law between meteorological conditions and traffic accidents, and provide a basis for formulating more scientific traffic management strategies.
Visibility meter is an atmospheric visibility monitoring instrument controlled by a microprocessor according to the principle of forward scattering of light. It emits infrared light pulses, then measures the forward scattering light intensity of suspended particles in the atmosphere, and uses an appropriate algorithm to convert the measured value into a meteorological visibility value.
