The Road Weather Station is a specially designed monitoring device. It can not only measure basic meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction, but also focus on monitoring key indicators such as visibility and road surface conditions. These monitoring data are crucial for timely detection of abnormal conditions on the road, such as heavy fog, icing or slippery road surfaces.


When the weather station detects severe weather such as heavy rain, strong wind, or road icing and snow accumulation, it will immediately send an early warning to the traffic management department. In this way, the management department can adjust measures such as speed limits and traffic restrictions on expressway sections in time according to this information to reduce the risk of traffic accidents.


The Road Weather Station can also be part of a traffic meteorological monitoring network, providing continuous and comprehensive monitoring data through networking to support traffic meteorological services.


Fengtu has developed a high-precision Visibility detector. It uses the principle of aerosol scattering to intelligently monitor visibility. This device consists of several key parts: light transmitter, light receiver and microprocessing controller. It provides multiple measurement range options, including a range of 10 meters to 10 kilometers, 30 kilometers and 50 kilometers, and a monitoring module for rain and snow weather phenomena can be added as needed.


The Visibility detector outputs data through the RS485 interface and supports the Modbus communication protocol. It is widely used in various transportation fields, including meteorological stations, airports, expressways, waterways and large ships, etc., helping these departments improve their monitoring and early warning capabilities for low visibility conditions, thereby ensuring smooth and safe transportation.
