The sensing surface is painted with 3M matte black paint. The sensing surface is a hot junction. When the sun shines, the temperature rises, and it forms a temperature difference electromotive force with the cold junction on the other side, which is proportional to the intensity of solar radiation.

Diffuse Radiation

It consists of two parts: the pyranometer and the sunshade ring. The sunshade ring is used to ensure that it can continuously block direct solar radiation from sunrise to sunset. The sunshade ring consists of a sunshade ring, a ruler, a screw adjustment screw, a bracket, and a chassis. The sunshade ring is 65mm wide and 400mm in diameter. It is fixed on the screw adjustment screw of the ruler, and the latitude and declination scales are engraved on the ruler. The ruler and the bracket are fixed on the chassis and should be fixed according to the geographical latitude of the mounting location.

Net radiation

The new net pyranometer is used to measure the net difference between the full-band radiation projected downward from the sky and the full-band radiation projected upward from the earth's surface. The measurement range is 0.3 to 3 microns of short-wave radiation and 3 to 50 microns of earth radiation. It is mainly used to study the state of the earth's heat balance and can be applied to meteorological research, thermal stress and heat balance research, and highway road condition monitoring.

The working principle of this meter is the thermoelectric effect. The sensing part is a thermopile made of copper-plated constantan wire, and the top of the thermopile is painted with 3M matte black paint. The two thermopiles receive solar radiation and earth radiation respectively. Due to the different radiation intensities absorbed by the upper and lower sensing surfaces, a temperature difference is generated at both ends of the thermopile, and its output electromotive force is proportional to the difference in radiation intensity received by the sensing surface.

In order to prevent the influence of wind and rain on the output of the radiation meter and to protect the sensing surface, the meter is equipped with a hemispherical special polyethylene film cover that can transmit both short-wave radiation (0.3 to 3 microns) and long-wave radiation (3 to 100 microns).

7. Consistency of sensing surface: ±15%

8. Temperature characteristics: ±2% (-20℃~+40℃)

9. Chassis diameter: Φ120mm

Count the sunshine every minute, and reset at 0:00 every day.

The meter uses a silicon photodetector and passes through a 400-700nm optical filter. When light is irradiated, it generates a voltage signal proportional to the incident radiation intensity, and its sensitivity is proportional to the cosine of the direct angle of the incident light.
